Moto Club Sant Celoni is a motorcycle enthusiasts association seeking to promote this kind of sport, providing opportunities to young drivers and prevent the disappearance of some marginalized specialties since 1980. It's been 7 years for Catalonian motorcycling fans having three circuits in Vallgorgina’s Park (Sant Celoni) for their enjoyment.
The Social Championship has being held in Sant Celoni for four years, it is smaller than Catalonia Championship but it is a platform for children to start up. This year, on the 4th Sant Celoni Social Championship in the category of 49cc, Gerard has excelled above all the drivers and got the Championship winning all the races!
Gerard has not only won both rounds each race, but its minimal advantage with the second place finish had been 24 seconds up to more than a minute as in the last race. Gerard has also been the fastest driver of each race and he never gives the absolute fast lap up. Gerard’s fastest lap is always more than 3 seconds faster than his quicker opponent, being the only driver who regularly came down from 1:30. KTM driver best lap has been 1:24 and he only failed to finish bellow 1:30 once during the whole Championship. 1st Race--> Gerard Congost, Alex Soles, Jaume Gaya.
2nd Race--> Gerard Congost, Alex Soles, Aida Castro.
3rd Race--> Gerard Congost, Alex Soles, Marc Pamias.
4th Race--> Gerard Congost, Aida Castro, Larriba Germain.
In short, astonishing championship won forcefully by Santa Cristina’s driver increasing his little list of winners, we expect to continue growing.
