Girona Motocross Championship

As you can see on the website of the Catalan Motorcycle Federation, Girona championship has ended after three races.

Girona championship has been scarce of races due to late cancellations combined with the overlap with other championships. We hope next year things will change.

The first two races ended with Gerard in 2nd and 1st place respectively and with a great Eric Thomas who was going to make things very difficult to Gerard. Unfortunately for him, Eric Tomas had a bad fall in a race which forced him to spend much time away from racing and when he comes back he decided to use the rest of the season to test the 65cc category. Without Eric in the contest Gerard took the third race a little easier to win and he won his first title.

Next year we will defend the title being one of the objectives of the season.
