A few weeks ago the last MotoCross Competition finished and as always it is time to evaluate the results of the year. A year full of competitions, successes and some disappointments that made us to come back next season with more enthusiasm than ever. Let’s start analyzing the Motocross Championship of Catalonia where Gerard gets 6 victories, 3 poles and 7 fast laps and never leaving the podium. Our rider found a great rival Albert Fontova who tied Gerard four of the eight races. But Gerard4 never gave up and he was able to reduce 10 seconds the training timing in almost every race. It’s important to note that Gerard has been the only rider to achieve pole, fastest lap and win the two rounds in the same race. And he did it twice, amazing!!
During Easter best national riders competes the Superkids.Only one round was run due to bad weather. Although Gerard only got the third position, he made an amazing job because after his fall at the beginning he moved up nine positions.
The season’s most important journey was MX Master Kids where young riders around the world met. Gerard demonstrated a higher level than the other eight-year-old riders. He strongly dominated the trainings during 3 days but bad luck separated him from the victory the last day. Although the team takes this fact as a motivation to keep going giving our best because there’s no time for regrets or mistakes.
As every year Gerard also participated in Girona’s MotoCross Championship and Sant Celoni Social Championship winning both competitions fot second consecutive year.
